IBMC #08: The Nursery Rhyme Challenge is to pick a nursery rhyme and make a new interpretation to it.

The nursery rhyme that I picked is:

one, two, tie my shoe
three, four, shut the door
five, six, pick up the sticks
seven, eight, lay them straight
nine, ten, a big fat hen.

my new version (not for kids, though):

one, two,
i miss, it’s true,
three, four,
how we were before
five, six
i miss the pics
seven, eight
think I’ll just wait
nine, ten
until we heal again.
