In just a few days from now, the Chinese New Year will start.
Many of us are interested on what will or will not give us luck for the the coming new year, especially the Chinese New Year.
We tend to do things prior to the coming of the new year. It does not just depend on what gives luck, but it also depends on what year you were born, or what your birth stones are.
So, today after work, a friend and I went to a shop in Maginhawa to buy “lucky charms”. I was able to buy a bracelet for Mama, made of Moss Agate stones (stone of abundance and wealth). Unfortunately though, the stone that I wanted to have for my wrist mala is unavailable.
I was disappointed and I felt sad because I was so excited to have and wear it. But I think, it only means that I’d rather work hard and pray for the things I am hoping for than relying my luck on the stones.
Luck is believing you’re lucky.
Saw this phrase when I was searching for luck quotes.
It’s like what they say, “what you think, you become”. If we think we’re lucky, then we already are lucky.
Bug I still want a wrist mala though. 😅
