Merida🏹

I did not grow up playing with toy princesses. I did have rag dolls and Barbie, but not Disney Princesses. If anyone asked me before who’s my favorite Disney Princess? I have none.

Not until I have seen the Disney movie, BRAVE.

BRAVE (IMDb): Determined to make her own path in life, Princess Merida defies a custom that brings chaos to her kingdom. Granted one wish, Merida must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse.

BRAVE instantly made it to my list of favorite Disney/Pixar movies!

After I watched the movie, I know that Merida’s going to be my one and only favorite Disney Princess. 🏹

I fell in love with her character that I even purchased the movie in Blue-Ray in iTunes and watched it so many times, downloaded and played (and got addicted) to the Temple Run-Brave, and just today, I was surprised to see Merida dolls and miniature figurine toys at the mall, so I got myself the Brave set (picture below) that comes with a mini Merida, a mini-bow and arrow, a mini plate with cupcakes, 2 mini wisps, and one of her brothers transformed into a little bear.

But why Merida of all the Disney Princesses?

1. Merida is single. Haha! What I mean is, of all the Disney Princesses, Merida is the only (as far as I know) Princess that does not have a prince. One of the things I learned from BRAVE is that you don’t have to settle for someone just because people around you want it for you.

“..be free to write our own stories, follow our own heart, and find love in our own time” -Queen Elinor’s message delivered by Merida 😉

2. Merida is a skilled archery. I like that sport! I have tried archery twice (and wanting to again) and luckily target bull’s eye on my second session. I have wanted to enroll myself in Archery classes but it’s too expensive, so maybe I’ll just save up money for now. 😜

That’s just it. For me, Merida🏹 just rocks! 🤟🏼💪🏼

Now, let me leave you with a quote from BRAVE.

“There are those who say fate is something beyond our command. That destiny is not our own, but I know better. Our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it.” ~Merida🏹 http://youtu.be/NvR9YOpDG4A
