Bingsu on a Sunday

Last Sunday, Mama and I went back to Ideal Vision in SM City North EDSA to get the contact lenses that I purchased on Saturday. After that, as we were strolling, I happen to notice see a picture of a bingsu (a korean dessert composed of ice shavings, fruits, etc) on a menu displayed outside this new dessert cafe inside SM North. I first thought it’s another branch of Hobing, but it’s not. It was actually SNOWBING.

SnowbingPH is a Korean-themed dessert cafe that serves, well, bingsus! I asked Mama to choose from the bingsus on the menu and she chose this Mangoes and Cream Bingsu. She wanted to order pasta, too, and so we did (see pictures below).

MANGOES AND CREAM

Tastes good! Affordable, too. I just am not sure if they only have one size for the bingsu as the lady who took our orders didn’t (or maybe she just forgot) to ask for the size. So medyo bitin kase small serving lang.. hehe! Though sabi ni Ate good for 1-2 persons.. They also have other flavors – choco banana, strawberries, and one topped with tropical fruits. We’ll try strawberries and cream next time!

SALTED EGG PASTA

Their best sellers for the pasta are ‘Kimchi and Bacon’, and this one, ‘Salted Egg’. I am not a fan of kimchi, so I chose the salted egg. Again, they said it’s good for 1-2 persons. But when the food arrived, I whispered, “pang-dalawang tao na ‘to?” Hahaha! I know! matakaw lang siguro ako? kaya naliliitan ako? haha! I liked this, well because of the bacon.

Overall:
Babalikan? Hmmm, The place is nice, they have free WiFi, and a TV where they play K-pop music videos. I am not a K-pop fan so I am not familiar with the group that was playing that time. FYI, I did not go there because it’s Korean-themed, I was just after the

Uulitin? Pwede naman. I like their bingsu! Will try the other flavors, next time.

Snowbing is located in the Upper Ground Floor, Main Building of SM City North EDSA, beside Banana Leaf Curry House, across National Book Store.
