Name a discontinued product that you wish you could still buy.

I can’t think of anything, but there’s something that was discontinued, that I still want to see. It’s the McDo TV Commercial which was aired in a very short time. This was the McDonalds Philippines 2011′ BFGF commercial.

I searched for it in Youtube and here it is:

transcription:

Girl: Am I your girlfriend?
Boy: No! I’m not yet ready!
Girl: Huh?
Boy: Girls are demanding – they want this, they want that..!
Girl: I only want McDo fries, eh~
Boy: Really??
Voiceover: McDonalds Everyday McSavers. Only 25 pesos!

This TVC has been discontinued to air because of the reason that they believe this isn’t presenting a good example to kids – making kids play a boyfriend-girlfriend role in such a very young age.

I just don’t agree. This may not be something for kids, but if you can understand what the skit is trying to convey, this TV commercial teaches us, adults, something – that simple things can really make someone happy. This teaches us simplicity.

Adults are supposed to teach kids good examples, but these kids can teach adults more important things even without them being aware of it.

I still want to see this tv commercial – not just because of what I think it teaches, but simply because they’re cute! 🙂
